_Gunfire erupts at Yemen hospital, casualties reported

Gunfire broke out at a hospital in the Yemeni capital on Sunday when a group of gunmen tried to free a suspected al Qaeda militant who was being treated there, and casualties were reported, hospital sources said.

Taxi Driver Shoots Arab Attackers

East J’lem: 18 police wounded in riots in area

Some 18 police officers have been lightly wounded thus far in clashes that broke out in east Jerusalem. Some 20 young adults from the east of the city are throwing stones at the security forces in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City.

Homes Demolished near Hevron

(IsraelNN.com) Police and soldiers arrived in the Jewish village of Mitzpeh Avichai, outside Hevron, at 2:00 a.m. Thursday to tear down three homes. Officers immediately detained young men who were at the site and took their mobile phones, in order to prevent them from calling in friends to oppose the planned demolition.
The officers then threw furniture and other personal belongings from the homes onto the ground outside, and destroyed the buildings. A resident of the village managed to photograph the process.

Residents of Mitzpeh Avichai reported Thursday that they had begun to rebuild the structures.
