Gunfire broke out at a hospital in the Yemeni capital on Sunday when a group of gunmen tried to free a suspected al Qaeda militant who was being treated there, and casualties were reported, hospital sources said.
The sources said at least two hospital guards were wounded but there was no word on whether any civilians were also hurt. Al Arabiya television reported the two guards were killed. The hospital sources said the suspected militants escaped. (Reuters)

Waqf sources in Jerusalem and Palestinian medical sources reported that at least 60 Arabs, east Jerusalemites and Palestinians were wounded in clashes on the Temple Mount from tear gas, stun grenades, and smoke inhalation.

“We won’t leave these pioneers alone to face the violent protests of extreme anti-Zionist leftists and anarchists,” the MKs said. “We will all come on Saturday night to protect them.” The MKs will join residents of the neighborhood and other supporters in a prayer for Jerusalem’s safety.
