SAME CHR TIN SUBJECT:

I JUST RECEIVED THIS EMAIL FROM A CHRTIAN READER.

1)  Shalom David

I’m Elizabeth from South Africa…
My best friend shared your website with me via e-mail, his name is Reuben, he is also from my country.

You have one truly amazing site, that’s for sure. I like your way of seeing the views you believe in. Something really touched my heart and this is why I have decided to write an e-mail.

Just something short about myself. I am a religious Orthodox Christian with a passion for G-d. I mentioned this to Reuben as well, the bad behavior of most Christians. I can not believe how some so-called Christians go around to slander the Jewish people. There is no excuse for it. The fact that most try to force J onto the Jews is a big sin… Actually to force J on anyone is a sin, but especially on the Jews. And yes, I write G-d like this and the name of the messiah Christians believe in as a Jew because of respect for Jewish people. I don’t care if some Christian out there might be offended by this, but I live for G-d alone and not for the human race. When you live for G-d alone you simply don’t disrespect Jews. Many people out there are so hypocritical that they only “bless” the Jews because they want something in return from G-d. If so, then you don’t really mean the “love” you have in your heart towards the Jews. You just do it because G-d wants it to be this way. Who are some people to respect anything in return from G-d, G-d is great enough and we are we to demand what we want. And who are we to bless G-d. He doesn’t need our blessings. He doesn’t need anything from us at all. We should be dependent of G-d because without Him we are nothing. If I claim to have respect for Jews and want something in return, it is as good as visiting a friend out of the blue after 20 years just because you need a favour, like to borrow money for example. It is so obvious that G-d wants the Jews to be a nation and whatever G-d desires WILL HAPPEN because He is G-d. Just do G-d’s will without asking questions. How on earth can anyone claim to be a servant of the L-rd when they want everything their way and not G-d’s way…

The fact that some people… if you can even refer to them as human beings (I call these weirdos nut-jobs) … how on earth can anyone force J on any Jew. You never see Jews banging down the doors of non-Jews and force religion on them. And if a Jew teaches about his religion he does it with respect and compassion – this is what I call to represent G-d… and Jews clearly represent their creator. And if there is some non-Jew out there seeing this email and he has a problem with what I say then he has serious issues.

Isn’t this obvious that when you force religion on a person who doesn’t want to believe in it, that this person will end up hating people, and no, you can never blame someone who gets offended by some heretic. Christians need to take in mind that nobody is perfect, because only the creator is (The G-d of the Jews). This is an unforgivable disgrace, a shame indeed. Look how mad Christians get when the Jehovah Witnesses bang off their doors… really annoying huh? Well, well, well… just try to imagine how Jews are feeling about this… maybe 100 times worse. You can not show love while you make use of force, these 2 thing never did, and will never go hand in hand, just like you can not mix oil with water.

And yes, I admit G-d gives me peace, but to get peace you need to show peace. It comes from both sides. The more compassionate I am towards people, the more of G-d’s presence I experience. What does this show anyone, that when G-d gives you peace in such a case, He is speaking to your heart and He is telling you that what you do is the right thing to do because G-d is no deceiver. The less kindness I show to anyone… the less I feel G-d with me. This is quite logical. This is the way it should be.

I want Christians out there to realize that it is G-d’s plan for  the Jews to be a nation. G-d never intended for the whole earth to be Jewish but doesn’t this ring a bell… why is G-d still keeping His promises to the Jews? Because Jews are G-d’s Nation and to make G-d’s Nation your enemy is most definitely not kosher. This wouldn’t only make you anti-Semetic but also an enemy of G-d. How can anyone be so ignorant ever to rebel against the will of the Almighty? G-d will destroy people like this. You simply don’t take G-d for a ride because He is in charge.

Another thing which makes me angry as hell is the fact that people refer to the Jewish Bible as a “old testament” – This is not only an insult to the Jews, but also to G-d. How can some Christians claim that the Jewish Bible (Tanach) is still valid when they refer to it as the “old testament”. This is pure insanity. Referring to the Jewish Bible like that means you are saying that the word of G-d is not valid anymore. I can not believe where hypocrites came up with this nonsense! On the other hand, some people believe that J is predicted in the “old testament” – which means they say that J is prophesied in a book which is no longer valid, this would mean that some are not only insulting the Jews but their own beliefs as well. Ha ha ha! How very foolish, how very insane!!!
G-d never changed and He never will.

To refer to the Christian Bible as the (new testament) is not only a slap in the faces of the Jews, but something much worse. This is an typical ignorant attitude. And then you get some Christians who believe that J taught his followers from the Tanach and yet they think this is no longer valid, lol. They are basically saying that J followed something which “expired” – so what is the point of following J then. Ha-ha-ha! The “new testament” came after J. People are so foolish that they find issues with Jews but they don’t even realize that they are insulting their own beliefs as well. It is actually hillarious but also very pathetic.

What I admire about Jews, is that whenever some people try to prove Jews wrong, for example – by trying to convince Jews that J is the messiah… that Jews ALWAYS know their Bible and how to throw answers back at them. And some people cant stand this and then they have the audacity to call Jews “blind”.. if Jews are really so “blind” – then why is it that Jews know the Jewish people so well and never come up with unbiblical references. Jews simply have knowledge from above. And the people who cant answer Jews back can not even prove anything. LOL, even Jews know the Christian Bible better than some Christians do or ever will.

Another thing on my mind is this “messianic movement” – Messianics are Christians! FULL-STOP! They should stop pretending to be Jews. They give Jews hell and also to Christians. They condemn Jews to hell for not believing in J and also non-Jews because they call him J and not “yeshua” lol. This is as good as telling someone I am Caucasian but not white-skinned. How foolish!
If a Jewish person is a Messianic, then he is probably a Jew and this is why I will not go against them, because I just love Jews so much. I can’t explain this… I believe it is a spiritual experience… because I feel Jewish too and the effect this has on my soul is an amazing experience I can not explain. But this will not make me lie like some Messianics do by pretending to be Jewish. To pretend means to live in a lie and to live in a lie is a sin because this means to make a mockery out of G-d.  I did some research on the messianic movement and according to surveys only 10% of all Messianics were born as Jews. So to tell the REAL JEWS that they are NOT JEWISH because they are not messianic followers is beyond rude, too pathetic for words.

I will most probably be hated by many non-Jews but I don’t care in the least. I stand firm to each statement I make.
On many blogs I left comments on I got rude messages saying “you are not a Christian” lol… as if this will make me change my mind LOL to make them happy.. oh please I don’t think so. So whoever out there is a non-Jew who wants to insult me, bring it on.
I would’ve be surprised if someone is going to tell me something like “Yes, how very typical of South African Christians” – As South Africans we hardly ever get along with other Christians around the world. People believe we are the most ignorant people but then they have the audacity to call us “Puppets for Jews” – probably because they are too green  of jealousy…
David – If it seems as if I have an attitude, please forgive me but this is how we are as South Africans and we don’t tolerate any crappy behaviour from any anti-Semetic shmuck whatsoever

Thank you for allowing me to say how I really feel.

May G-d bless you now and forever

Dear Dacon9,

I really did not intend to post here again as I don’t want to intrude here; however, it was nice of you to say what you said and I am honored that you want to hear more from me, so I can’t ignore that.

I’m bit leery of saying more than I had already said, though. For one thing, I don’t want to cause arguments, and I’m afraid of being misunderstood.

I would like Christians to leave Jews alone as far as the whole conversion thing goes. I think it causes hard feelings, and it is disrespectful for a Christian who doesn’t even understand Jewish beliefs to come along and tell a Jew that they are wrong. When you couple that ignorance with a very disgraceful history of Christian persecution of Jews, it’s no wonder that many Jews are very skeptical of us. I’m somewhat amazed that a Jew will even speak to a Christian.

The problem is that Christians don’t really know much about Judaism except that Jews don’t accept Jesus as the Messiah. But other than that, they are pretty much ignorant and would be hard pressed to tell you anything else other than maybe Jews aren’t supposed to eat pork.

I would like to see more Christians offer Jews unconditional love and support instead of only being interested in them to convert them. I also would like to see Christians try to understand Judaism more instead of just thinking that Jews are condemned to hell because they don’t believe in Jesus.

You asked what my church teaches vs. what I have found to be true. Well, that’s a very heavy question and really I would need to write a book to anwer. But a few things I believe where i part ways with most other Christians is that I do not believe Jews are condemned to hell for not believing in Jesus. and I do not believe that God is “done” with the Jews and that Christians have replaced them as the apple of G-d’s eye.

I believe that Christians have a duty to G-d to protect and support Jews, that we must pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and that God will bless those who bless his people, the Jews.

I also believe in Jesus, and you don’t, and there we will just have to agree to disagree.

I believe that the existence of Jews on this earth proves that G-d exists and it proves that God has not abandoned the Jews. Look at all Jews have gone through in their history: slavery, wars, diaspora, pogroms, persecution, the Holocaust. AND YET THEY ARE STILL HERE as a unique people with a unique culture, even though still scattered all over the world. No other people could go through so much and still retain their identity. But Jews have done it. It proves Gd’s very existence.

I’m sorry you’ve had bad experiences with Christians and find that their friendship seems to come with a knife. And while we Christians do have a lot of atoning to do, I do believe it is important to acknowledge the too-few Christians who have been friends to Jews even when it cost them greatly (for instance Corrie ten Boom and her father and sister, or Diet Emon) and who did so with no ulterior motive but only as an act of obedience and love towards G-d.

Thank you for listening.

FURTHER COMMENTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED.

EDITOR ADDS THAT WHEN A XTIAN BELIEVES IN JEUS OR TRINTY OR GHOSTS OR SONS AND COUSINS THEY VIOLATE THE VERY COMMANDMENT  THAT THE XTIANS EMPHATICALLY SAY THEY ACCEPT.  OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS  THE XTIANS  CLAIM TO EMBRACE THE SECOND COMMANDMENT THAT THEY  BLATANTLY VIOLATE .. ‘HAVE NO OTHER gods BEFORE ‘ME’ . THERE IS NONE BESIDES ‘ME’. THERE IS NONE OTHER THEN ‘ME’ .

’I’ AM THE ‘LRD THEY GD’ , HAVE NO GRAVEN IMAGES ‘.

also i dont agree to disagree. I believe that you too DO NOT BELIEVE in jeus. I believe you have serious doubts about your churches teaching and you not yet but soon will realize that you have been deceived, brainwashed into accepting without questioning the existance and teachings and origins of those teachings and your mangod.

I believe its simply  that you want to believe in something because you FEEL there IS A SUPREME POWER but you know of nothing else and no other path to hold onto to fill  that part of you that KNOWS there is a supreme power. You have heard of the Noahide laws. They are the laws that ADAM the first man  and NOAH and ABRAHAM WANTED TO TEACH THE WORLD.(named after NOah because the ONE GD OF ISRAEL gave NOah the 7TH universal law for all mankind) Those laws if followed, make one a *Rightous Gentile* and has a special place in the next world reserved for the rightous of all the nations. Read the following books.

1) path of the rightous gentile 2) 7 colors of  the rainbow.

NOW BACK TO THE REAL WORLD OR IS IT THE FAKE ONE…ONLY THE SHADOW KNOWS.

( when I drive past a church in certain rural areas, even many hospitals I have noticed so many statues on their driveways . I always wondered, like ‘the twilight zone’, do they talk to each other? Ya know what I mean?  like…’Hey michael…Yo ! matthew..whats up dude? michael, dont ya get tired standing and just watching the driveway all the time? birds sitting on your shoulder, messing up on us?  and why did they make us outta stones or wood, why couldnt jeus make us flesh and bones, its cold being a concrete statue..yeah matty, I wonder what mary got to say sitting in the rain holding a baby with a donkey right up close..doesnt  she care about germs? Hey pete..yeah you peter, what ya got to say?  Wheres pauly? he stared this whole thing about jeus and pauly never even met the guy…Yo ! paulie, tell me the truth..any of you guys gay..i mean there are rumors, ya know what I mean? )

    3)  Dear Dacon9

I want to thank you for taking the time to write what you said above and also to apologize for not responding sooner. The truth is I was quite stunned at your words and was left somewhat speechless (maybe not for the reasons you might think.)

    Thank you for being direct.

Has anyone ever told you are blunt? Not that being blunt is bad, I’m just wondering if someone has told you that before. You certainly don’t mince words!

I enjoy this website of yours, though I do find myself getting a little lost here navigating around. If I don’t respond to something you say, please don’t take it as rudeness on my part. I may just not have seen what you said.

I liked the article about the Syrian Jews and now want to get that Aleppo cookbook. I hope to have more time exploring here in the weeks ahead.

Do you ever pray for people? If so and if it’s not too presumptuous of me to ask, can you please say a prayer for me. I will have a very tough time ahead of me the next four days. G-d knows what I need, but if you could just put in a good word for me with the man upstairs, I’d appreciate it.

Best wishes, and happy new year.

  • THANK YOU! Your prayer means a lot to me.

And about being blunt, okay, okay, “simple, honest and straightforward.”

If you feel so inclined, something I’d really like to see you address in a future article is about Jewish teachings on the concept of evil. And I know that would probably take a book to respond to as opposed to just an article, but I’d like to know what you have to say. I asked a Jewish friend of mine but she’s secular and didn’t really know, and another Jewish friend of mine is reform and didn’t really know either.

I often find myself thinking about evil in the world and how we have to be on guard against it. Events like the Holocaust obviously make me think about evil as a force in this world, and then there are things like 9/11, the Hutu massacre in Rwanda, etc. I was particularly thinking about evil recently when I read “The House on Garibaldi Street” about the capture of Adolf Eichmann.

In my Christian circle, some people tell me that we shouldn’t even think about evil because that gives power to it. That thinking makes no sense to me. Pretending something isn’t there doesn’t make it go away.

And then conversely there are Christians who say that everything bad deed they’ve ever done is because of an attack by Satan, and that also doesn’t make sense to me because, after all, where is their own personal responsibility?

So I’d be very interested to hear about Jewish teachings on the concept of evil.

I will be too busy to visit here for a week or so, but I’ll check back eventually.

    Thanks again.

PS Is this site all yours Dacon9? Maybe it’s just becase the all-caps are missing that it’s sort of throwing me off.

    Dear DACON9,

Remember when I asked you to pray for me last week? Well, the first day nothing happened, but then on Friday there was MAJOR movement in s very big problem facing me. I’m hoping this problem will be resolved once and for all tomorrow (Monday), but just in case, can you please say another prayer for me? You don’t have to post anything here, but if you could please put in another good word for me. Your prayer last week really seemed to get G-d’s attention! Thank you!

Good grief! No comment on what you said.

Seriously, though, I want to thank you very much for your prayers. Everything is going to work out, not in the way I initially wanted but instead in a way that I didn’t even think of and that actually might be better. In any case, it is do-able. Praise G-d for his goodness and wisdom, and thank you for your prayers.
